Aging and Society Conference in Tokyo
Our conference abstract titled, ‘Unpacking public perceptions of intergenerational care: Is it all roses?’ submitted to the Aging and Society Conference to be held in September this year has been accepted. The conference will be held in Tokyo, Japan. We are looking forward to be presenting at this conference which will be focusing on aging, health, well-being and care in a time of extreme demographic change.
Australian Association of Gerontology Conference in Melbourne
The IGC team will be presenting at AAG’s 51st Annual Conference in late November. This conference will be held in Melbourne, Australia and the theme for this year is ‘Advancing not Retiring Conference’. The focus of our presentation will be in line with this theme where we will discuss how our project can play a pivotal role in allowing the older folks in our society to experience positive ageing through engagement with younger children.
The Intergenerational Care Project Forum 2018
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a follow up forum in mid-November this year where members of the research team will be sharing our trial findings with key stakeholders; industry partners from aged care and child care organisations, consumer representatives and the general public .
